I am not sure if I am posting to the correct address or not so if not please reply to this e-mail the correct address please.

I have a Compaq Presario Model 1825 laptop. It has a ESS Technology soundcard built in. The number is ES1969 SOLO - Audiodrive (Rev-02)

It is not supported by ALSA or a least is not listed as supported. I will be glad to test a trial version if any of your developers have one ready for testing. As long as you can provide step by step instructions to set up and test.

Please advise what the next step is to getting sound on my laptop.
