Updated 12-7-2006. Hi, This is just a quick note to say that one 12-4-2005, I have received a donation of a EMU 1212m sound card from Creative. Its PCI IDs are: 0000:03:06.0 Class 0401: 1102:0004 (rev 03) Subsystem: 1102:4001 Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 32, IRQ 21 I/O ports at 9c00 [size=32] Capabilities: [dc] Power Management version 2 So, it uses the Audigy2 DSP. It also uses a FPGA chip for audio routing etc. On 12-7-2006: I have received a datasheet from emu.com regarding the FPGA. The "emu1212m-3.diff" patch applies to the current alsa.hg kernel tree. It adds support for SPDIF output at 48kHz for the emu1212m sound card. TODO: Implement support for other input/output. e.g. Analog caputre/playback. Implement support for 96kHz and 192Khz.
